We are all very familiar with how Jesus Christ came, born into this world by the virgin Mary, and placed a small trough where cattle are fed. Man was in conflict with Heaven. Christ was sent so there could be healing of that conflict!

As he began his place in humanity- He was a servant. He came offering hope and help to humanity, something to cause them to rise above themselves. 

There is a stark contrast between the first Advent and the second Advent. "Behold the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his Saints. To execute judgment upon all that are ungodly. . . of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him"(Jude 14b-15).

In the first Advent, he came as a servant, in most humble circumstances. In the second, He's going to arrive with all of Heaven at His side. Folks, when our Lord comes the second time, it's not going to be in a lowly pitiful condition. "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad" (2nd Corinthians 5:10).

He is not going to be crucified again. When He comes back the second time, He's coming back as judge. Read John 5:22. . .Matthew 24:27. . ."And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great Glory" (Luke 21:27). Read Revelations 19:11. . .He's coming back!  But he's not coming back as a baby! He's coming back as Lord! He's coming back in judgement! Every man shall die once. Some men shall die twice. I'm talking about eternal damnation! 

Which story do you like? To the human flesh, the first is more palatable, but the second is just as true! The second tells us if we haven't made peace through His blood, we stand in jeopardy!
